What is Valentine's Day?

Saint Valentine's Day or more traditionally called "Valentine's Day" is on February 14 every year and is the traditional day on which lovers express their affections for each other by sending Valentine's cards. This tradition started as an anonymous event for those that didn't know the person's desire for them. However, today St. Valentine's day is a day where couples send cards and gifts to each other to show their appreciation.
